Measuring Principle
The radar level gauge transmits a frequency modulated continuous wave signal (76-81GHz) through the antenna, the frequency increases linearly, and is transmitted in space at the speed of light, and is reflected on the surface of the measured medium, and is received by the same antenna, and the frequency difference between the transmitted signal frequency and the received signal frequency is proportional to the measured distance. The frequency spectrum of the reflected echo is obtained by Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), and the distance of the target to be measured is calculated.
